The Chandler Education Foundation (CEF) is on a mission to fuel access, innovation, and excellence within the Chandler Unified School District (CUSD). We believe in the power of education to transform lives—and we’re looking for a passionate, creative, and organized marketing/fundraising professional who’s ready to help us achieve our mission.  
 

What You’ll Do: 

As our Marketing & Fundraising Campaigns Director, you’ll drive how we share our message and ensure successful fundraising campaigns that directly support teachers, scholarships, and innovation in classrooms.
 

Marketing: 

  • Serve as the CEF Brand Champion— implementing brand strategy to reflect and clearly articulate CEF's mission and priorities. 
  • Develop and lead marketing efforts across social media, web, email, and print. 
  • Manage the CEF website (Firespring CMS) and keep our digital presence current and relevant.  
  • Create compelling and informative content including press releases, blog articles, social media posts, newsletters, and campaign communications.  
  • Collaborate with the CUSD Marketing Team on cross-promotions. 
  • Create or coordinate the creation of print/digital marketing collateral. 

Fundraising: 

Lead the two annual fundraising campaigns: Cash for Classrooms (fall) and the Winner’s Choice Car or Cash Raffle (spring). 
  • Build and execute detailed fundraising campaign plans that energize CUSD schools and the community. 
  • Manage campaign logistics in online CRM/fundraising platforms. 
  • Coordinate communications and promotion across all channels and stakeholder groups—from school sites to donors. 

Events:

  • Coordinate annual CEF events including the Woohoo Patrol (surprise visits announcing grant winners) and Scholarship Celebrations.  
  • Liaise with CUSD and other stakeholder groups to participate in relevant external events including College and Career Fairs and the Chandler Innovation Fair.  

What You Bring: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, fundraising, or related field. 
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, development, or nonprofit communications. 
  • Strong writing and project management skills. 
  • Confidence working with digital tools: CMS, social media, CRM systems, e-newsletters, and Microsoft Office. 
  • A collaborative spirit and self-starter mindset—proactive, detail-oriented, and entrepreneurial.  
  • A personal drive to support students, empower educators, and uplift our greater community.
