George Rozsa Golf Classic Benefiting Chandler Regional

For the past 21 years, the George Rozsa Golf Classic has embodied the mission and vision of Dignity Health by allowing our community partners and leaders to make a difference in the lives of many East Valley residents who have received medical care at Dignity Health Chandler Regional Medical Center, Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, or have benefitted from the Community Outreach programs and services Dignity Health offers. George Rozsa received care from Chandler Regional. And, as an expression of gratitude for the humankindness he received from his care team, he gathered a group of friends together at the golf course to raise funds for his favorite charity. This event has now taken place for more than 21 years and touched thousands of lives. The funds raised from this event have surpassed $2 million and have been put to use meeting the greatest needs of our hospitals, including purchasing new medical equipment, funding community programs like our athletic trainers, and providing medical training for staff. It’s truly a testament to what a difference can be made by one person. George and his wife have both passed on, however, his family and friends remain dedicated to bringing quality health care to our East Valley communities, especially to those in need.
