Meet Senator Ruben Gallego
Senator Ruben Gallego, a first-generation American raised by a single mother, worked multiple jobs to support his family before becoming the first in his family to graduate from Harvard. He later served as a Marine infantryman in Iraq, where his unit faced some of the war’s toughest battles. Driven by a commitment to service, he was elected to the Arizona House in 2010 and to Congress in 2014, where he became the highest-ranking Latino on the House Armed Services Committee and a strong advocate for veterans, healthcare, and Arizona’s natural resources. In 2024, he was elected to the U.S. Senate, where he continues to fight for working families across Arizona.
